NCG is currently conducting an evaluation of Freemuse’s three-year Artistic Freedom Programme, funded by The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) & The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (NMFA). Freemuse monitors and collects data on artistic freedom violations and abuses. Its activities include advocacy, campaigning, research and capacity building.

The evaluation team will undertake an evaluation of the strategic plan, namely the overall outcome as well as key specific programmatic and organisational outcomes from 2016-2018. NCG’s team is led by team leader Louise Smed, with the assistance of Lone Bildsøe Lassen and Mikkel Otto Hansen with quality assurance from Marina Buch.

The assignment includes data collection tasks such as consultation of programme documents and interviews with Freemuse staff and relevant stakeholders, both national and international.
