Mikkel’s key competences lies within the area of human rights and evaluating development programmes, especially with regard to a human rights based approach (HRBA). In his current position as a junior consultant at NCG he has taken on various demanding assignments and assisted in data compilation, report writing and designing of human rights courses. In assisting NCG consultants in various other assignments, Mikkel has a good understanding of NCG QA mechanisms and experience in reviewing, editing, verifying data with great care and according to specific needs.

Mikkel holds an MSc in Development and International Relations, and a BA in Religious Studies. He has conducted field work in the West Bank, Palestine and is specialized in issues concerning forced displacement and the migration-development nexus. Mikkel has considerable experience working with NGO’s and has 4 years of experience as a legal adviser for refugees in Denmark. Mikkel has strong analytical skills and is a sound coordinator from his experience with various organizations. Finally, Mikkel is capable of visualizing humanitarian/development data using Geographical Information System (GIS).
