Mikkel Otto Hansen


Mikkel is an M&E specialist with an interdisciplinary background in religious studies (BA) and Development and International Relations (MSc). For more than three years he has undertaken a wide range of complex evaluation assignments at NCG, gaining thematic expertise in human rights-based approach (HRBA) to development programming, civil society support, youth-focused interventions and cultural rights programmes.

Mikkel has strong methodological skills for M&E purposes and has acquired a good understanding of NCG QA mechanisms, including experience with reviewing, editing, and verifying data with great care. He has evaluation experience from various regions including Eastern Europe, Western and Southern Africa, and Central Asia. Finally, Mikkel has considerable experience working with NGOs, including 4 years of experience as a legal adviser for refugees in Denmark.
