Project Summary
Assessment of applications under the Digital Democracy Initiative (DDI) – Call for Proposals 2024. The DDI is a Danish MFA-funded programme (DKK 388.5 million, 2023–2026) aimed at promoting and protecting inclusive democratic space in the digital era. The initiative supports civil society actors to enhance civic engagement through digital technologies and to strengthen digital resilience and protection of online civic space. The 2024 call for proposals covered three thematic lots: technology-facilitated gender-based violence, digital climate activism, and youth engagement in the digital democratic space. The assignment focused on Lot 2 – Leveraging digital technologies for climate activism.
From NCG, the team included Jakob Kirkemann Boesen and Jakob Silas Lund.
