Project Summary
The Danish Family Planning Association (DFPA) has worked internationally for 30 years for sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR), primarily with support from the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Through its Strategic Partnership Agreement (2022-2025) with the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, DFPA has been implementing activities in Kenya, Uganda and Ethiopia with a budget of DKK 22 million.
NCG undertook an evaluation of DFPA’s projects across the three countries, providing thorough analysis of its international program under SPA I and SPA II. The evaluation provided critical recommendations to DFPA for how a SPA III program can build on successes from the previous programs and learn from its challenges.
From NCG, the team consisted of Louise Scheibel Smed and Carsten Schwensen, with Ayla Olesen Yurtaslan as Quality Assurer.
