Project Summary
Over the last two decades, whole of government (WOG) approaches have gained traction among bilateral donors engaged in fragile and conflict affected contexts. In the Danish context, efforts to improve the Danish WOG approach led to the establishment of an inter-ministerial funding mechanism, the Peace, and Stabilisation Fund (PSF) in 2010. Since its establishment, has carried out a diverse range of peace and stabilisation programmes in some of the world’s hotspots – from Afghanistan, the Horn of Africa, and the Middle East, to the Sahel region and Eastern Europe.
The Evaluation of the Peace and Stabilisation Fund (PSF) encompasses the period 2014-2020, covering the full portfolio of programmes and engagements during the period. The evaluation report is based on a portfolio analysis and three regional case studies covering the Horn of Africa, Syria and Iraq, and the Sahel, with light touch desk analysis of the Gulf of Guinea and Ukraine.
From NCG, the team included Anne-Lise Klausen and Ayla Olesen Yurtaslan.
