The Policy Paper maps and assesses loss and damage in the global south, including non-economic loss. The paper provides an overview of 10 selected disasters caused by climate change, with extra focus the flood in Pakistan (2022), the tropical cyclone in Malawi (2023), and sea level rise in Vanuatu, looking at the impact and available data on economic and non-economic of losses and damages incl. psychological impact.
