Project Summary

As part of Denmark’s support to democratic reform in Ukraine, the Danish Programme on Good Governance and Human Rights in Ukraine aimed to strengthen public accountability and human rights by supporting key institutions involved in justice reform, anti-corruption, and oversight. The mid-term review assessed the relevance, progress, and performance of the three main programme engagements, implemented through the Council of Europe and UNDP.

NCG led the independent mid-term review, providing strategic analysis and recommendations on programme effectiveness, risk management, and future direction. The team conducted fieldwork in Ukraine, consulted with national stakeholders and international partners, and delivered a comprehensive evaluation report to inform the remaining implementation period and upcoming programming under the Danish Neighbourhood Programme.

From NCG the team included Theresia Kirkemann Boesen.
