Project Summary
The Pre appraisal team comprised four members namely the Team Leader from MoF, a financial specialist from MoF and two external consultants from NCG: Jakob Kirkemann Boesen and Hans Henrik Madsen. The role of the external consultants was to prepare drafts of all documents to be produced by the pre-appraisal team namely: A Preparation note, a debriefing note in the form of a PPP, and a zero draft and a draft Pre-Appraisal Report.
The tasks included assessments of all partners through interviews with the partners, namely: four projects within Human Rights and Democratic Accountability projects (Municipality Development Programme, Core support to Palestine Human Rights Commission (implemented by ICHR), support to the Danish House In Palestine, and Civil Society Support ( to be implemented by UNDP). Two projects within the area of green, sustainable, inclusive economic growth and decent jobs, namely two projects managed by FAO (MAP II and Green Jobs II). Finally two projects were assessed within Resilience, peace and stability (MDP IV) and support to West Bank Protection Council).
Special attention in the assessments of the implementing partners was given to the DDD principles and to which extend the proposed project documents were sufficiently adaptive to changes in the fragile context.
