As an intern in Nordic Consulting Group (NCG), you will be part of an exciting international consultancy firm that carries out a broad range of consultancy assignments globally with a special focus on Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East.
Our services focus on all sectors and themes related to international development and humanitarian aid, where our core competencies lie within governance, human rights & equality, climate & environment, private sector development and sustainable growth, and the humanitarian-development nexus. NCG's main clients include Danida, Sida, Norad, SDC, the EU, the World Bank, the UN agencies, and various national and international NGOs.

YOUR PROFILE
Passionate about international development and humanitarian work.
Curious and quick learner.
Can work independently and take initiative.
Solid planning and coordination skills.
Strong communication skills and excellent writing skills in English.
Ability to understand Danish.
Enrolled at a Danish University, or other institutions of higher education within a relevant field, e.g., international relations; business and development studies; business, language and culture. We also welcome alternatives, as long as you have a strong interest in international development.
TASKS
As an intern, you will work closely with our team of project managers, partners, and network of external consultants. Your tasks will include but not be limited to:
Providing support to Project Managers in tender processes.
Efficient identification and monitoring of upcoming and relevant project opportunities.
Supporting contractual and administrative management of ongoing projects.
Support in the financial aspects of project management incl. budget preparations, cost deliberations, and invoicing.
Contributing to the day-to-day operations of the firm.
We are eager to learn about your interests, as the internship also offers opportunities to explore other areas of our work depending on your profile and motivation, including communication, storytelling and visual communication, as well as AI modelling, workflow automation, and platform integrations.
HOW TO APPLY
The internship is eligible for ECTS credits at relevant institutions and runs full-time (37 hours/week), with concern for studies. The intern period will be from August 2026 to January 2027. While unpaid, a monthly compensation of 5.000 DKK is offered.
