ABOUT NCG
As an intern in Nordic Consulting Group (NCG), you will be part of an exciting international consultancy firm that carries out a broad range of consultancy assignments globally with a special focus on Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East.
Our services focus on all sectors and themes related to international development, where our core competencies lie within governance, human rights & equality, climate & environment, private sector development and sustainable growth, and the humanitarian-development nexus. NCG's main clients include Danida, Sida, Norad, Swiss Development Cooperation, the EU, the World Bank, the UN agencies, and various national and international NGOs.

As NCG grows, we are expanding our internship roles to reflect new strategic directions, especially within digital transformation and communication. We therefore welcome applicants who matches one of the following two profiles or has an interest in the two areas:
Profile 1
Interest in communication, incl. professional storytelling and visual communication, supporting the new company website and social media accounts.
Passionate about international development and humanitarian work.
Solid planning and coordination skills.
Excellent writing skills in English.
Profile 2
Practical skills in Microsoft’s Power Platform incl. Power BI and Power Automate.
Knowledge of AI modelling and automation of digital workflows.
Knowledge of platform integrations.
Furthermore, we imagine both profiles to be
Curious and quick learners.
Able to work independently and take initiative.
Able to understand Danish.
Enrolled at a Danish University, or other institutions of higher education
TASKS
As an intern, you will be an integrated part of our team and gain hands-on experience across projects, partnerships, and communications. Your tasks will be diverse and may include:
Spotting opportunities, by quickly identifying and monitoring upcoming project opportunities that align with our work.
Shaping project by assisting Project Managers in tender processes and contribute to a variety of ad hoc assignments.
Making an impact behind the scenes by supporting the contractual, financial, and administrative side of project management.
Supporting our IT Team with AI models, Power Bi dashboards and API integrations.
Contributing to communication projects, including managing NCG’s social media presence, updating our website, and developing engaging content.
You will join a young and energetic secretariat in a dynamic work environment that values your ideas and initiative. From day one, you will have the chance to take ownership, shape processes, and drive meaningful change within the organisation. Your workday will be based in our bright, charming offices in the heart of Copenhagen few meters from Kongens Nytorv.
HOW TO APPLY
The internship is eligible for ECTS credits at relevant institutions and runs full-time (37 hours/week), with concern for studies. The intern period will be from February 2026 to August 2026, including summer break. While unpaid, a monthly compensation of 5.000 DKK is offered.
