Framework Agreement on Thematic and Institutional Evaluations 

NCG is currently involved in the Framework Agreement on “Thematic and Institutional Evaluations for the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC)”, covering the period April 2024 to December 2028.  

Under the current framework, the Evaluation & Controlling (E+C) Unit of SDC will commission up to twelve independent thematic and institutional evaluations, which each will be conducted over a period of 9 to 12 months. The thematic and institutional evaluations will broadly cover the thematic priorities of Switzerland’s International Cooperation Strategy 2021-2024 and 2025-2028, with the concrete topics selected by SDC on an annual basis.

NCG’s core team is comprised of 8 team leaders and 8 team members with comprehensive evaluation, thematic and institutional expertise, who form the backbone of our evaluation teams. While this core team covers a wide range of topics, NCG may draw on external thematic or institutional expertise to cover specific thematic or institutional topics.
