From promising partnerships to lasting results 🌱

How can business partnerships help advance the green transition while improving livelihoods? This question has been at the heart of Nordic Consulting Group Denmark’s (NCG) work with Danida Green Business Partnerships (DGBP) since the programme’s launch in 2022.

We are pleased to share that the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has selected NCG to continue providing management support for DGBP until the end of 2030.

DGBP brings together businesses and non-commercial organisations to develop commercially viable solutions to climate and environmental challenges while promoting inclusive economic growth in the Global South.

Over the past four years, NCG has supported four application rounds, through which 49 partnerships received funding. Our DGBP Secretariat has assessed proposals, guided partners through implementation, and provided technical support, financial oversight and results monitoring, including field monitoring visits to 12 full projects.

The next chapter builds on this experience and the relationships developed along the way. With the final application round completed in 2025, our focus is on supporting existing partnerships through implementation and completion: helping partners navigate challenges, monitor results and capture lessons that can inform future green business partnerships.

Our team for this next phase brings together Lars Christian Oxe, Marianne Jacobsen Toftgaard, Kasper Thede Anderskov and Mikkel Bagger.

We look forward to continuing our collaboration with the Ministry and the partnerships and supporting their efforts to turn green business ambitions into lasting development results.
