Morten is a senior consultant with more than 35 years’ experience in development cooperation and development finance. He has extensive experience in blended finance, financial sector, private sector and agriculture as well as in governance, public sector management and political economy.

Morten has led strategy, programme and project formulation as well as appraisals and reviews. Most recently, Morten headed Impact Fund Denmark´s financial sector and blended finance team. Morten headed the department for Green Growth in Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was Danish ambassador to Bolivia and has leadership roles in quality assurance of Danish development cooperation.

Morten holds an MA in Macroeconomics and in International Finance. He has lived 3 years in Tanzania, 4 years in Ghana and 4 years in Bolivia.
